Tour Itinerary :
Early morning at 4 am, you will be picked up at hotel where you stay in Jakarta, then we drive to the coastal town of Carita by a private which takes around 3 hours approximately, arrival at Carita is around 6.30 am, breakfast and coffee break will be served at the local restaurant. Then after breakfast, walking tour birding around Carita Forest Park, where we will look for some key species, such as : Javan Owlet ( its rare ), Javan Frogmouth, Javan Banded Pitta, Javan Black Capped Babbler, Grey Face Tit-Babbler, Black Banded Barbet, Javan Sunbird, and maybe Javan Kingfisher if we still have much time. Lunch will be served at the local restaurant, and then at 2PM, we start again for birding in the afternoon to look for Plantive Cuckoo, Banded Bay Cuckoo, Little bronze cuckoo, Pied Triller, Common Flameback, Sunda Pygmy Woodpecker, Freckle-Breasted Woodpecker, Grey-rumped treeswift, Orange-belied flowerpecker, Fork-tailed drongo cuckoo, Ashy drongo, Small minivet, Brown throated sunbird, Lesser coucal, Chestnut-breasted malkoha, Little spiderhunter, Javan munia, Scaly-breasted munia, White-headed munia, Collared kingfisher, Blue-eared kingfisher, White-throated kingfisher, Scarlet-headed flowerpecker, Coppersmith barbet, Yellow-eared barbet. Then at 5 PM, we drive back to Jakarta hotel, and maybe we may stop at the waterbirds spot and we hope to see the Javan pond heron, Cattle egret, Little egret, Intermediate egret, Great egret, Striated heron and Cinnamon bittern. And after that, we drive back to Jakarta hotel, arrival in Jakarta hotel around 8 to 9 PM. End of Carita Birding Day Tour.

Day 01 Jakarta Hotel – Carita Birding Tour ( B,L,D)

Lunch & Dinner will be served at the local restaurant. Available for amazing experience for night birding where we will look for Spotted wood owl, Sunda scop owl, Oriental bay owl, Brown boobook, maybe Barred eagle owl & Buffy fish owl and Barn owl.
Day 02 Carita Birding Tour – Jakarta Hotel ( B,L)
Breakfast will be served at hotel, and after breakfast, we drive to the spot of Kingfisher and we hope to see Javan Kingfisher, White-throated kingfisher, Collared kingfisher, Stork-billed kingfisher, and Blue-eared kingfisher. Day 03 Carita Birding Tour – Explore Waterbirds Tour – Jakarta( B,L,)
Breakfast will be served at hotel, and after breakfast, we drive to the spot of waterbirds where we will look for White-breasted waterhen, Striated heron, Yellow-bittern, Little egret, Intermediate egret, Great egret, Javan plover,Common sandpiper, Eurasian whimbrel, Curlew, Common tern, Little tern, Aleutian tern, Whiskered tern, Small blue kingfisher, Olive-backed sunbird, Indonesia honey eater, Sacred kingfisher, Zitting cisticola, Paddyfield pipit, Yellow-bellied prinia, Golden-bellied gerygone, Malaysian pied fantail. Lunch will be served at the local restaurant. Then at 3 PM, we drive back to Jakarta hotel. End of Carita Birding Tour
