Early morning at 4 am, you will be picked up at hotel by our representative where you stay in Jakarta, and then we drive to Ujung Kulon National Park by a private car, breakfast and coffee break will be served at the local restaurant. And after we have had breakfast, we drive direct to the spot where we will look for some key birds species, such as : Javan black-capped babbler, Javan banded pitta, Grey-cheeked tit babbler, Yellow-throated babbler, Javan kingfisher, Javan Owlet, Javan sunbird, Black-banded barbet, maybe Javan frogmouth. And also its possible to look for Kingfisher species, and we hope to see Rufous-backed dwarf-kingfisher, Stork-billed kingfisher, Rudy kingfisher, Blue-eared kingfisher, Small blue kingfisher, Sacred kingfisher, Banded kingfisher, Collared kingfisher, and also another some birds species, such as :Banded broadbill, Olive-winged bulbul, Ruby throated bulbul, Chestnut-breasted malkoha, Red-billed malkoha, Yellow-eared barber, Fork-tailed drongo cuckoo, Lesser racket tailed drongo, Greater racket-tailed drongo, Grey-rumped treeswift, Little spiderhunter, Orange-bellied flowerpecker, Brown-throated sunbird, Crimson sunbird, Black-winged flycatcher-shrike, Asian glossy starling, Asian emerald dove, Bold-striped tit – babbler, Javan munia, Scaly-breasted munia, White-headed munia, Wooly necked stork, Crested serpent eagle, White bellied sea eagle. Day 01 Jakarta Hotel – Ujung Kulon Birding Tour (B,L,D)
You will be picked up at Hotel Jakarta is around 5 am by our representative, then we drive to the border of Ujung Kulon National Park by private car, breakfast and coffee break will be served at the local restaurant, and after we have had breakfast, we drive to the border of Ujung Kulon National Park where we will set up for jungle camp at Mt. Honje area ( not to the peak ) Key Species : White-breasted Babbler, Grey-cheeked Tit Babbler, Javan-Black capped Babbler, Chestnut-capped Babbler, Javan Owlet, Banded Broadbill (Javan), Javan frogmouth, Black-banded barbet, Javan) Yellow-throated hanging parrot, ( Javan) streaky-breasted spiderhunter, Javan Sunbird, and Javan kingfisher. And also we expect to see the beautiful Orange-breasted trogon, Black-naped monarch, Scaly-crowned babbler, Large wren babbler, Horsfield’s babbler, Temminck’s babbler, Olive-winged bulbul, Black-headed bulbul, Ruby-throated bulbul, Banded kingfisher, Small minivet, Crimson sunbird, Ruby –cheeked sunbird, Little spiderhunter, Orange-breasted flowerpecker, Crimson breasted flowerpecker, Artic warbler, Dark-throated oriole, and maybe Black-and crimson oriole, Blyth’s paradise flycatcher, and Maroon breasted philentoma. Day 02 Ujung Kulon Birding Tour – Drop to Jakarta Hotel/Airport (B,L,)
Early breakfast will be served at the base camp, then we will look for some birds which missed in the previous day. And after that, we trek back to the border where we will bird photography in the hide and we expect to see Javan banded pitta, Java black capped babbler, Horsfield’s babbler, Banded kingfisher, Rufous-backed dwarf kingfisher, Stork-billed kingfisher, Rudy kingfisher, Javan kingfisher, Cerulean kingfisher, Pin-striped tit babbler, Laced woodpecker, Common flameback, sunda pygmy woodpecker, freckle-breasted woodpecker, Fork tailed drongo cuckoo, Ashy drongo, Javan munia, Scaly-breasted munia, White-headed munia, Banded broadbill, Yellow-eared barbet, Black – banded barbet, Greey-rumped treeswift, Crested serpent eagle. You will be picked up at Hotel Jakarta is around 5 am by our representative, then we drive to Marina Carita by a private car, breakfast and coffee break will be served at the local restaurant, and after we have had breakfast, we cruise to Ujung Kulon by speed boat and on the way to Ujung Kulon, we hope to shore birds species, such as : Lesser frigatebird, Little tern, Great crested tern, Black-napped tern, Bridled tern, Aleutian tern, Roseate tern, Brown noddy, and maybe white tern. Arrival at Ujung Kulon is around 12 noon. Lunch will be served. Its white-sand beaches and coral reef shores hold a fascinating world of marine life while Peucang’s impressive forest shelters an abundance of wildlife, some of which graze and play around the lodges. Opposite Peucang Island across a 800 meters channel is the Ujung Kulon Peninsula with a wide variety of attraction. Peucang Island’s beach is superb for swimming and shallow snorkeling reefs are also found all along the shore. For deeper snorkeling there are coral reefs to the east, midway between the Island and mainland. Dinner will be provided.

Breakfast will be served on the boat while you are enjoying the beautiful morning at the island, and sometimes the Stork-billed kingfisher can be encountered around the beach and also the beautiful white-bellied sea eagle. And after we have had breakfast, we cruise to the mainland to look Ruddy kingfisher, Javan forktail, Asian fairy bluebird, Black-capped kingfisher, Fulvous-chested jungleflycacther, the Green peafowl, Crimson sunbird, Green imperial pigeon, Pied imperial pigeon, Blue-throated bee eater, Chestnut-headed bee eater and many others. Explore Cidaon. And after that, we cruise back to Peucang Island to bird around the island to look for Wreathed hornbill, maybe rhinoceros hornbill and Oriental-pied hornbill.
D3 Birding Ujung Kulon – Marina Carita – Jakarta Hotel/Airport (B,L)
After early breakfast at the restaurant, we cruise to Cibom where we will explore some birds species around Cibom and Tanjung Layar, such as : Large wren babbler, blue-whistling thrush, lesser racket –tailed drongo, Rhinoceros hornbill, Chestnut-breasted malkoha, White-rumped shama and many others. Birding at Tanjung Layar, and its possible to look for the shore birds around Tanjung Layar where the shore birds can be scanning from the lighthouse. Then trek back to Cibom to cruise back to Peucang for lunch. After lunch, check out then we cruise back to Marina Carita, arrival at marina carita is around 4PM, then we drive back to Jakarta hotel or Jakarta international airport. End of Birding trip.

And after lunch we trek back to the border where we will bird photography in the hide in the afternoon and we expect to see Javan banded pitta, Java black capped babbler, Horsfield’s babbler, Banded kingfisher, Rufous-backed dwarf kingfisher, Stork-billed kingfisher, Rudy kingfisher, Javan kingfisher, Cerulean kingfisher, Pin-striped tit babbler, Laced woodpecker, Common flameback, sunda pygmy woodpecker, freckle-breasted woodpecker, Fork tailed drongo cuckoo, Ashy drongo, Javan munia, Scaly-breasted munia, White-headed munia, Banded broadbill, Yellow-eared barbet, Black –banded barbet, Greey-rumped treeswift, Crested serpent eagle. D3 Birding Ujung Kulon Full Day Tour – Birding Island Tour (B,L,D)
Early breakfast will be served at Homestay or at the ranger house, and after breakfast, we look for key birds in Ujung Kulon which missed in the previous day, Javan Banded Pitta, Javan Owlet, Javan Frogmouth, Javan Forktail, Javan babbler/ White-Breasted Babbler, Javan Black Capped Babbler, Javan Kingfisher, Javan Blue –Banded Kingfisher, Javan hawk eagle, Javan sunbird, Javan tit babbler/Grey-cheeked tit babbler, Javan plover , Javan bulbul, Javan leafbird, Small blue kingfisher, Chestnut-Capped Babbler, Streaky-Breasted ( Javan) Spiderhunter, Yellow-Throated Hanging Parrot, Black-Banded Barbet, Brown-throated barbet, Zebra woodpecker, Olive-backed tailorbird, Bar -winged prinia, Scarlet- headed flowerpecker, Green Peafowl. Then we drive back to the border where we will cruise to Peucang Island by wooden boat, arrival at Peucang Island, check in at Seaside accommodation.
D4 Birding Ujung Kulon Full Day Tour (B,LD)
Breakfast will be served at the restaurant, and after we have had breakfast, we cruise to the mainland to look Ruddy kingfisher, Javan forktail, Asian fairy bluebird, Black-capped kingfisher, Fulvous-chested jungleflycacther, the Green peafowl, Crimson sunbird, Green imperial pigeon, Pied imperial pigeon, Blue-throated bee eater, Chestnut-headed bee eater and many others. Explore Cidaon. And after that, we cruise back to Peucang Island to bird around the island to look for Wreathed hornbill, maybe rhinoceros hornbill and Oriental-pied hornbill.
D5 Birding Ujung Kulon – The Border – Jakarta Hotel (B,L)
After breakfast at the restaurant, we will look for some birds which missed in the island. Lunch will be served, and after lunch, we cruise back to the border of the park, arrival at the border around 3 PM, then we drive back to Jakarta hotel or Jakarta international airport. End of Birding tour.
